Daniel Perez, MD, FACP, is a 1989-graduate of the Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud in Medellín, Colombia. His postgraduate training in the United States includes his internship and residency in internal medicine conducted at Danbury Hospital/Yale University School of Medicine in Danbury, CT (1992-1997). There, he served as Chief Resident in his senior year (1996-1997). Furthermore, he completed a clinical post-doctoral fellowship in infectious diseases at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons (1997-1999). Dr. Perez attained board certification in internal medicine and infectious medicine disease medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine.
